This is demo for CommentsPlus module developed by our team. The Comments+ module sets up DISQUS comment system in your dnn website quickly, with your comments hosted and powered by Disqus. Here we build a new thread about Ultimate DNN Module – SunBlogNuke and we can discuss anything about it. Please feel free to join & enjoy yourself.

  • I think that you should be able to build the min blog with Html/Text module & this utility widget. :)
  • First test post. Is this module in a way a replacement for a full blown blog system? It could be a "mini" blog system for comments and thoughts. What does the community think?

    Actually the Disqus also supported for gravatars. Gravatars are popular universal avatars. If you haven’t uploaded a picture on Disqus, we’ll display your gravatar (if you have one) instead. Hope it applies to users that aren't registered with Disqus.

    New feature for Comments+ module is done - integrating with Active Social
    Journal seamlessly. Now if you post a new Disqus comment, it will be Sync to AS Journal. Please stay tune. You will be surprised to our blog post later if you are #SunBlogNuke clients.

    Yes, it supports to load the comments by unique thread URL, including querystring value. With the ability you can easily integrated with any #dnn blog or news module. Hope it makes sense. :)

    Does this provide the ability to link specific DISQUS threads to a querystring parameter/value? or is it just per-page?

    Tried to install #DNN6 with our local website for testing. Everything runs well but in the last step it throws an error - "object is NULL" and stop. Must it run under .net 4 framework? Maybe we need to wait for a while for more stable version. :)
